I plan on this dress becoming one of my Summer staples and will pair it with jeans and flip-flops as I normally do with all my Summertime dresses. Thanks Jill, I love it!

Jill also recently awarded me with this One Lovely Blog Award. Thank you Jill! Its always nice to know that people enjoy and read this little blog.

I have the pleasure to pass this on to some of my favorite blogs:
Janna of Artsy Fartsy Junk Finds always shares the best junky finds. http://artsyfartsyfinds.blogspot.com
Janna also makes some really awesome Vintage Junk Pendants, made from all kinds of vintage finds.
Shelly of Bungalow Bling makes the most endearing cake toppers and shabby chic crowns.
http://bungalowbling.blogspot.com. Shelly has actually just started this blog so be sure to go and say hello.
Angela who I just recently met through blogging has a wonderful blog. She makes the best tags and has been featured in the most recent Somerset Life magazine (if you haven't gotten it yet, its so worth the time and money!)

Thank you for the link love.
I am having a business card giveaway by vintage bella this week if you are interested.
I love all of those shoppes... thanks for sharing. (I especially love Angela's. I could really go broke there). I am participating in the Marie Antoinette swap, and I'm browsing around looking at the blogs of those participating. I love your blog. The red, white, and blue swap looked like fun. I missed out!
You are making the most wonderful Etsy items! That's what's so cool about blogging. Everything you do is in one little space so even if you didn't do much in one month it still looks like you did. Everyone understands especially b/c you have 3 very active boys. I hear ya about the 3 a.m. thing. I do the same. it's a great ob though that we can take a break anytime we want and spend time with the kids.
Thanks so much for my Award! It's was wonderful visiting with you :)

Aren't those slip dress similar to Glamarella's? but.. not just quite.. and I could swear the KING of muslin Teacup designs.. doesn't hand stamped muslin... ummmm... your other picks, to DIE FOR! LITERALLY!
Who is to say who started what? Altered slips of all kinds of forms have been on Etsy for years. Not to mention Altered Couture magazine has featured different altered slips over the years as well. Clothes have been upcycled for years. As have the stamped muslin - no one can say they are the creater of such items. Rather than "hide" behind anonymous, how about you be honest about who you are?
I wouldn't call it hiding, and I see no need for the defense. I was just stating fact. You always have such enjoyable reads, I just found this one "a little off" is all. And it really isn't to say who started what, this is how people learn, and grasp ideas, conform. It is just about honesty. So, my apologies on not "showing you me" I am just a reader of Blogs, I work in consulting with construction firms... and laugh at the tales of "their" online dating excursions! This is why I loved to come here... pure fun and great reads.
You are right and I apologize.
I just get testy when it comes to issues of copying and whatnot. I began making my vintage assemblage jewelry prior to ever finding about Etsy, Somerset Magazines, etc. and sold to a couple of local boutiques. Then when I came to Etsy I tried a little bit of everything, but decided to stick with jewelry designed from vintage pieces. Every so often I get an convo accusing me of copying other successful Etsy jewelry designers who like me like to use vintage componants in their jewelry. It can be frustrating having to defend myself. And in turn I want to defend fellow artists as well. Guess I just want to be supportive of everyone. :)
There is no need for you to apologize... You are an amazing woman within YOURSELF! And I should apologize if you took it as towards you. My point was only.. TRY (not you..) to come up with your own ideas....it really isn't hard... and it isn't hard to just be yourself and not have to "lie" or "hide" behind the carnival tent. People will wither like you or not.. But the more honest you are.. I think you have a better shot! It is nice that you want and like to be supportive..at times though you may have to be MORE supportive of yourself...
I still love your reads...regardless.:)
